From fun and interactive children’s ministries to Gospel-centered worship and messages, Sunday morning is a place where you can meet new people, get plugged into the Coral Ridge community, and encounter the liberating power of God’s Gospel. Below you will find some helpful information on what to expect when you’re here. We want your visit to feel as comfortable as possible, so be sure to contact us if you have any questions; you can also speak with a greeter when you arrive.
Here are a few details to help you know what to look forward to:
Parking is located in the front, south side, and rear of the church building. Our overflow lot is located on the Westminster Academy field, across the street from the church building, on 56th Street. Parking for expecting mothers is located on the north side of the church building, near the circle drive.
Next, you will be greeted by a volunteer who is excited to see you. Our volunteers are here to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and offer directions to anywhere on campus.
Little Ridge: 10-weeks to 2 years
Caring for your infants and children during the Sunday service is a top priority, and Little Ridge is a fun, engaging environment for your little ones. Children can be checked in at the Little Ridge main desk, located on the north side of our campus. A room for nursing mothers is available in the Little Ridge area with a live-stream of the main service.
Kid Ridge Jr.: PK3 - PK4
Children in PK3 and PK4 can check in at Kid Ridge Jr., accessed through the main Little Ridge Courtyard.
Kid Ridge: Grades K – 5th grade
Our goal is that your children will encounter God, feel loved, and have fun! They will experience meaningful worship, games and activities, and engage with God’s Word. Check-in is located at the Kid Ridge kiosks in the Chapel lobby on the northeast side of the campus. Children remain in Kid Ridge for the duration of the service.
We make every effort to ensure you and your children have a safe experience at Coral Ridge. All volunteers in our children’s ministries go through an extensive screening process before they can volunteer. Security volunteers watch both children’s ministry areas throughout the service. Other security staff and volunteers, as well as Fort Lauderdale police officers, protect our campus each week so you can be safe and secure as you worship.
Sunday School Classes are at 10:10am and are a great way to connect and dive deeper into a particular topic or book of the Bible. Kid's Sunday School is also available during this time. You can find a full list of classes here.
We have two worship services: 9:00am (contemporary) in the Sanctuary, 11:00am (traditional) in the Sanctuary.
An usher can help guide you to the best seat available. Our "Family Room" is available for families with small children. The Family Room is located in the back of the Sanctuary for the traditional service and in the Fellowship Hall Lobby for the contemporary service.
From ethnicity to background, to the clothes people wear, we have a very diverse group of people that worship with us. We want you to be comfortable, so feel free to dress casually or wear your Sunday best!
We celebrate Communion together once per month. During the traditional service, communion is served by elders distributing the bread and cup to the congregation as they remain seated.
During the contemporary service, communion is served to the congregation as they come forward to the front, guided by ushers. The bread is dipped into the cup as a blessing is received from an elder or pastor. Gluten-free elements are located near the windows at the east side of the Fellowship Hall. If you are unable to walk forward, please notify an usher, and elements will be brought to your seat.
We live stream services in English here.
We would love the opportunity to meet you. Immediately following the service, please stop by the Narthex or Fellowship Hall Lobby to fill out a connect or volunteer card, sign up for events, and meet some of our pastors and staff. Our Welcome Center (located on the west side of the property, near the back parking lot), is where our bookstore is located before and after the services.
Pastors and elders are available to pray with you following each service at the front of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. Also, please fill out a prayer request card (on the back of the green connect card) and we will add you to our weekly prayer list.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
