Vision: Create a space where students develop a passion and love for Christ and others.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31
Mission: Equip students to understand their faith, identity, and purpose in Christ.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
This Summer, Gangway is taking a team of high school students to Freeport, Bahamas from July 8th-13th. Our goal is to serve and assist in community rebuilding after the devastation of Hurricane Dorian. While many commercial restoration and relief efforts have been successful, there’s still much to do in helping local communities get back on their feet.
Please join us on February 9th at 12:15pm in Gangway for an info meeting about the upcoming Bahamas High School Mission Trip. The last day to sign up is March 1st. Click below for more information or to register.
Meet Our Team:
Caleb and Suzannah Koornneef
Caleb Koornneef met his wife, Suzannah (Turner), at Coral Ridge in 2015 as an intern. They’ve been married nearly two years and have been directing Gangway Student Ministry, 6th-12th grade at CRPC, since July 2017. Caleb currently attends Knox Theological Seminary and Suzannah dances with PLGD Co. and teaches dance at studios throughout South Florida. Being in ministry together has been a tremendous blessing for the Koornneefs and they thank God for His calling upon their lives. As they each continue faithfully in their roles as Director of Student Ministry and Girl’s Ministry Coordinator, they look forward to joining with Coral Ridge in reaching the next generation with the power of the gospel.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
