Vision: Create a space where students develop a passion and love for Christ and others.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31
Mission: Equip students to understand their faith, identity, and purpose in Christ.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
High School Gangway is taking a ski trip retreat to Colorado's Winter Park Resort from March 14-17! Trip cost includes travel, lodging, 2-day lift tickets, rental gear and food (breakfast/dinner).
Sign up deadline is January 15, 2020. $100 down payment to reserve your spot!
Winter Park Ski Resort is located in the Rocky Mountains and was recently voted the #1 ski resort in North America by USA Today! Our group will stay at Snow Mountain Ranch (1101 Co Rd 53, Granby, CO 80446) located 20 min away from the base of Winter Park. Students will be divided into hotel rooms and are expected to follow the CRPC guidelines at all times. Lodging does have an indoor pool with rock climbing, volleyball, basketball, and other elements
Trip Schedule is as follows:
We'll meet at the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) on the morning of March 14 and depart by Southwest Airlines (#WN2661, 6:15AM) for a direct flight to Denver (DIA). Upon arrival, we'll take a charter bus from DIA to Winter Park and enjoy half a day of sight-seeing, fitting rental gear, and settling in. The next two days will be full ski days on the mountain. (A shuttle bus takes us to and from our lodging to the base of the ski mountain.) If you're not an avid skier or snowboarder, don't worry - there are plenty of shops, activities, and exploring to do at the base. On March 17, we return by Southwest Airlines (#WN537, 12:45PM) to Fort Lauderdale. Parents will pick up their student from the airport upon arrival. Full flight itinerary will be communicated after names have been submitted.
Note: if you need transportation assistance or wish to carpool to or from FLL, there will be no issue coordinating that.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact Director of Student Ministry, Caleb Koornneef (email@example.com, 954-334-5280).
Can't wait for an unbelievable trip!
Meet Our Team:
Caleb and Suzannah Koornneef
Caleb Koornneef met his wife, Suzannah (Turner), at Coral Ridge in 2015 as an intern. They’ve been married nearly two years and have been directing Gangway Student Ministry, 6th-12th grade at CRPC, since July 2017. Caleb currently attends Knox Theological Seminary and Suzannah dances with PLGD Co. and teaches dance at studios throughout South Florida. Being in ministry together has been a tremendous blessing for the Koornneefs and they thank God for His calling upon their lives. As they each continue faithfully in their roles as Director of Student Ministry and Girl’s Ministry Coordinator, they look forward to joining with Coral Ridge in reaching the next generation with the power of the gospel.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
