Serving the Homeless and Struggling in our Community
In light of God’s grace, we recognize the importance of serving those who are needy, poor, and marginalized or displaced in the community. This ministry meets every Saturday from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the EE Hall. During this time a hot meal is provided, the food and clothing pantry are available, and a brief sermon is given. On average, we serve 65 individuals each week. We also provide relief development, information on social reform, and discipleship. Our ministry goal is to ultimately provide practical assistance, a path out of homelessness, and a position of self-sustainability. In the last year we have distributed 3,000 meals and over 13,000 pantry items.
Once a year we host a No Strings Attached event, welcoming hundreds of homeless from the community into the church for a plated dinner, clothing drive, and much more.
