Community Groups
What is a Community Group?
The mission of God is to restore all things to Himself in and through the work and person of Jesus Christ. His chosen vehicle through which he is accomplishing that mission is the church. As God restores us to himself, he is also restoring us to each other. This restoring work does not happen in isolation, but in and through our relationships. Community Groups allow you to connect with others and build closer relationships. Community groups are basic Christian communities where Christians grow (discipleship happens) and where the gospel grows (evangelism happens).
It is within these small communities that Christians encourage one another to believe the gospel and become the gospel in the lives of others. Community groups meet in homes and other locations throughout the week where they work through a study based on the Sunday sermon and build relationships. Groups also band together throughout the year to serve the needs of our church and community through various projects. You may visit a group at any time of the year by invitation of one of the group members or a pastor.
