Fees are determined when you call to make an appointment. Sheridan House Counseling is unique in that a sliding scale system based on current income is available for those who qualify and need assistance. The maximum rate of $100 for a 50-minute session represents a rate structure of more than 30% below market. The sliding scale for those who need assistance is calculated by $1 per $1,000 of combined household annual income with a minimum fee of $50 per session (i.e. if your combined household income is $69K per year, the fee is $69 per session).
Should you request a reduced fee, you may be asked to bring in your most recent income tax return for verification.
