Welcome
You are invited to the 33rd Annual Church Music Explosion, on the web at musicexplosion.org. Our motto is “Excellence in all things, and all things to God’s glory!”
The Church of Jesus Christ has been the caretaker of great music down through the centuries. Unfortunately, we live at a time when that music has been increasingly neglected or rejected. One of the goals of Church Music Explosion is to revive interest in our wonderful musical heritage.
Great names like Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn and Brahms have enriched the quality of music both inside and outside the church. We believe that events such as Church Music Explosion make a significant contribution to the advancement of quality music in the church today. It is our prayer that it will be a week of inspiration, education and fellowship that will enrich your own music ministry. (Dr. D. James Kennedy, Founding Pastor)
In the years past, it has been our delight to invite such musical expertise as John Rutter, Paul Leddington Wright, Eric Nelson, Dr. Joyce Jones, Diane Bish, Olivier Latry, Sir David Willcocks, Felix Hell, Craig Courtney, Christine Anderson, K. Lee Scott, David Hill, Camp Kirkland, Simon Preston, Don Allured, Cynthia Dobrinski, Neilson and Young and many others.
It is our desire to provide several days of study, repertoire review and concerts, as well as wonderful Florida sunshine, fellowship and relaxation following your busy Christmas season.
